What cookies are

Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. Browser storage does a similar job. Websites often use them to remember visitors or to track them across other websites.

What this site uses

This website does not set cookies, and it does not use browser storage to track you.

It keeps two small settings in your browser so the site works as you would expect: your choice if you pause or play the video on the home page, and where you had scrolled to on a page, so the Back button returns you to the same place. Both are cleared when you close the browser tab, and neither is ever sent to us.

We count visits with Plausible Analytics, which does not use cookies. It counts visits without identifying you: it does not store your network address, and it cannot follow you across other websites or from one day to the next. It records which pages are viewed and a small number of actions, such as sending a form, but never what you type into a form.

There are no advertising trackers on this website, and no maps, videos or social media feeds from other companies load automatically.

Managing preferences

Because this website sets no cookies, there is nothing to accept or switch off. If you would rather not be counted, you can block Plausible with your browser settings or a content blocker. The website works the same without it.

If we ever add cookies, we will update this page and, where the law requires it, ask for your permission first.
